BNSF 992, 4338, and 599 lead a stack train east through the Columbia River Gorge at Avery, WA. The train is going real slow since well car # 230216 has about a 2 inch flat spot on one of its wheels, and is to be set out at Avery. I had heard talk on my scanner for a while. Someone from the BNSF noticed the problem as the car was going by and called it in. You can start to hear it at 4:40. The noise is more distinct after the car passes since it is going across the crossing. The light was better on thew water side, but I did not want to risk possibly getting stuck if there was a major wheel malfunction.
